How pricing on Meesho actually works

Your settlement is not your selling price. Commission is deducted as a percentage of the sale, shipping may be charged back to you, and the GST included in your price is money you collect for the government rather than profit. What is left after those three has to cover your product cost and packaging — whatever remains is your margin. The calculator above shows each of those lines separately so you can see exactly where the money goes, and gives you the break-even price below which every order is a loss.

How do I calculate my Meesho profit per order?

Enter your product cost, packaging, shipping, commission percentage, GST rate and selling price. The calculator subtracts commission, shipping and the GST portion of the sale from your settlement and shows the profit and margin instantly.

What is a break-even selling price?

It is the price at which your profit is exactly zero after commission, shipping and GST. Sell above it to make money; below it every order loses money.

How is the GST portion calculated?

GST is treated as included in your selling price, so the GST amount is price − price ÷ (1 + GST rate). That is the part of the sale you owe rather than keep.

How is the quality score estimated?

It combines title length, description length, image count and quality, attribute completeness and whether a size chart is present — the factors marketplaces weigh when ranking listings. It is an estimate to guide improvements, not an official Meesho score.

How many 5-star ratings do I need to reach 4.0?

Enter your current star counts and the rating calculator shows your average and roughly how many more 5-star ratings are needed to cross 4.0.

Is my data saved anywhere?
